I'm This Many, Right Mommy?

The other day Mommy and I were making chocolate chip cookies. I was really lucky cause I got to lick the good stuff off the mixer spoon thingies.

When Mommie was mixing with her "MixMaster" she pushed a chair up to the counter and I got to watch her drop in the eggs. They went around and around until they got squished!

After that I looked at Mommy and said, "I'm this many, right Mommy?"

I held up 4 fingers. There was cookie dough all over them. And a chocolate chip feel down to the floor.

"Right," Mommy said. "But don't eat that chocolate chip. It's dirty now."

Sometimes Mommy isn't that much fun.

1010 10th Street

Well, hello.

I'm Ruthie. I'm 4 years old.

I live at 1010 10th Street. Isn't that the best address in the whole world?

Up until last week I thought it was everyone's address! Then Wendy, my next door neighbor, told me her address was 1012 10th street. I, of course, corrected her and told her, "The address is 1010 10th Street." She was very insistent that her address was 1012 10th Street. I tried to argue with her for awhile, but she didn't want to argue. Wendy is 12 years old.

Later, my mother told me that Wendy was right and in fact, every house has a different address. How interesting! How can we keep track of all these addresses? It would be easier if all addresses were 1010 10th Street. Don't you agree?
